Zoom Disclaimer: this shot is not taken by me, but it is strongly endorsed by me, and Manner lovers alike. B got a lot of strong feedback on her last Manner Schnitten post...so I was happy when she wanted to post this one. Here comes round two (this pic is all B).
Well, never let it be said there is zip, zero, nanda merchandising going on in Vienna. I'll agree, it is not the most commerce-centric, go-getta-buck environment I have ever seen, but this new Manner flagship store will be a catalyst of change here I'm quite sure.
Located DIRECTLY across the sidewalk from Vienna's famous St. Stephens cathedral, the folks at Manner could not have picked, bought, or begged for a better spot. The foot traffic seems to just swarm to the pink awnings and easily recognized Manner logo.
Inside the store is a Willy Wonkaesque parade through all things Manner. They've got flavors and varieties of the wafers I've never even seen before. And boy are they fresh. We're not talking Krispy Kreme fresh, but I'd bet they rolled off the line no more than a week ago. Diving into the new coconut wafers feels like you are on a beach lathered with Hawaiian Tropic oil and a Pina Colada in hand. All that's missing is the salt air.
This little truck is a replica of the old manner delivery trucks. I left my Info Lovers hat at home this day...meaning I forgot to grab product info on the truck to share with you all. I have a feeling this won't be our last Manner post, so stay tuned...

I love the use of color on this one. Also, the stacked boxes give it sort of a layering feeling.

Hey, welcome back, B !
The yellowish tones of this shot add to its "antique" aspect which works very well here.
