On the grounds of the Schoenbrunn Zoo is the rainforest exhibit. The building is over 1000 square meters large and hosts a variety of species complete with huge bats hanging fromthe ceiling.
The building mimics the biological and climatic conditons found in a Borneo rainforest. It truly is very cool no matter what your age. I was blown away. It is very well done and will bring me back to the zoo...if nothing else than to get a few more shot from the inside ;)

Info for info Lovers:
Schönbrunn invites you to experience first-hand one of the most species-rich habitats in the world: the rainforests of Kalimantan Island (Borneo) – recreated in a complex measuring more than 1000 square meters, which is equivalent to 4 tennis courts. On ground level, you encounter mangrove swamps and rice paddies, while at a higher level you enter the tree crown of the jungle, which in nature is suspended at a virtually inaccessible 30 meters height.
Vienna’s rainforest closely mimics the biological and climatic conditions of its counterpart in Borneo. More than 300 plant species, including particularly colorful orchids, help recreate a true-to-life jungle atmosphere.
Excellent reflection! Love this shot, really beautiful.

I like how there are all these different elements in this shot; curves meet geometric shapes and lines. and a smooth reflective surface is juxtaposed with rough concrete.

Tourist shot.
Kidding =).
It's a really nice shot. Although a tad dark. Odd for a rather bright day no?

Just read the last comment. It's good to be back. Went back to Malaysia (home country) for awhile. I'll try to be the avid commenter I used to be =)
And where are the bats?

The step design at the bottom of the glass, and the curve at the top, create a very strong diagonal separation for the frame. Great composition.

This is fabulous! The zig-zag and the brick is really lovely together - along with all the curves. Very nice!
