Zoo Wagon Zoo Wagon

I had not been to a zoo in a long time, so I doubt that Vienna is the only zoo to utilize pseudo-Radio Flyers as people movers, but I thought this was a pretty cool idea.

THese two boys seem to be having quite the time looking around and having a treat. The crop is a little tight but all I could get on the fly...

Radio flyers are awful! These would be much better because they have REAL WHEELS. Radio-Flyers now have these crappy crappy plastic wheels that make your ears hurt when you pull it. This looks much nicer. The treat looks very yummy, too.

Yeah, looks like they're eating Langos. Haven't had one in years.

And if you wonder what the heck Lángos actually is, here's a good description: http://home.comcast.net/~osoono/ethnicdoughs/langos/langos.htm.

In Hungary they can be pretty varied, though in Vienna it's typically very thin and fried to a crisp and usually served with garlic. They are also often wrapped around sausages (Debreziner-Lángos).

I know, off-topic, but they're sooo delicious :-).

Absolutely LOVE today's shot. That's the difference between you and me. I don't see things like that, but you get amazing shots out of everyday situations. You should be very proud, you have a great eye!!!

Congrats, love it!!! B.

Aww. (referring to B's Comment)

Oh and the picture is cute too. But I agree. Only thing I'm not liking is the tight crop.

ha! cute pic! reminds me of my trip to Fire Island recently .... no cars allowed on the island, so everyone owns a Radio Flyer wagon!

The rubber tires on those look great. I can't stand the plastic ones. I can't wait to try one of those Lángos, too.

hi tom,
austrians, or i guess most of your website-visitors, wouldn´t know what a radio flyer is. i didn´t know, although i´m well travelled, am familiar with a lot of american "specialities" and do speak very good english. so i had a close look and found this: www.radioflyer.com
hope that helps explaining what you all are talking about - rgds, uschi
