Appel A Day Appel A Day

I'm happy to post some art of art this morning. The wonderful pieces of colorful art shown hung out like clothes on a line are from Christoph Appel.

We met Christoph selling his prints in the middle of Vienna's 1st District last weekend. Earlier this week I saw his line set up along the tourist buses in front of Schoenbrunn Palace. His prints hang pinned to a long line attached with colorful clothespins...too much color for me to pass up. His characters are quite interesting as well...it's nice work.

Info for Info Lovers: Christoph's work can bee seen at the Galerie Interkult located in Vienna's 6th District. His website can be viewed here.

Great shot, Tom. Wonderful colors. I like how the composition hints at more prints to either side. And it's good that the background doesn't distract from the photo, but adds a bit more intrigue (is it a boutique).

Very cool art. But that's coming from a comic strip buff.

And yes. THe flurry of colours is very nice, and I don't think I'd be able to pass it up either. If there was a better way to shoot this, I'd be hard pressed to find it. ^^
