Finally Finally

I would not want to be a homewrecker here...I needed to post the female duck or she'd be jealous, right? I'm sure she's wondering what took so long for me to get to it. ;)

So, here's a shot of the female duck. This one gets the lighting from the other side and a different angle/color of Schoenbrunn in the back. The colors of the building match the duck perfectly.

This should also answer the grassy knowl wooden duck theory I think ;)

Got bread?

Fantastic job of capturing the duck and background. For me the lighting really makes the shot and I think you have done a good job capturing this on a pic.

~nice tight crop and DoF to seperate the bird from teh bg, a bit of tough light here, could edit and reduce the hotter whites and the glare a bit...~

T & B, this is a crap ..... ha ha ha .. just kidding :)
This is perfect. The lighting, DOF, background, and the angle are perfect. I love the texture on her feathers and also the background. This is really a great DOF example.

Nice lighting, great shot! I hope you didn't hurt yourself leaning down so far to get right down to the duck's leve! Worth it! It makes the picture!

Posted by Jan at April 13, 2005 01:44 PM

hey, you've also got a duck :)

Posted by n3on at April 14, 2005 10:56 PM

Great work with the DOF on this. The building is still discernable, but blurred enough to seperate from the duck.
